Master of Fine Arts graduate in painting with over 25 years professional experiences in the field of art and design. Creative problem solver with the ability to administrate, direct, and produce a variety of art forms and have proven teaching skills in drawing, painting, graphic design, photography, printmaking, and art education methods.
Teaching – Solid background in teaching art for universities, colleges, museums and community education programs since 1985. List of classes taught are Beginning and Advanced Printmaking, Drawing, Painting and Photography, Art Appreciation, Introduction to Fine and Performing Arts, Bookbinding, Art Methods for Elementary Teachers, Papermaking and Graphic Design.
Administration – Decisive team leader with extensive experiences in managing employees, projects, and museum collections. I have highly developed skills in business practices to include: training, planning, research, negotiation and implementation of educational programs and exhibitions. I am equally strong in fiscal management, fund raising and grant writing.
Production – Proven ability in the development and implementation of artistic projects for community, private and corporate clients. This includes fine and graphic art designs, illustrations, photographs and video. I have achieved mastery in oil, acrylic and watercolor painting. I also have expertise in all phases of traditional and digital photography including the Zone System, E-6 and C-41 developing, non-silver processes and digital imaging with Adobe Photoshop. I also demonstrate proficiency in relief, monotype, collograph, and intaglio printmaking techniques.

Duties: Responsible for the administration, operation and promotion of the Museum of Fine Arts Butte, The Charles Clark Chateau Museum, and the Venus Rising Espresso House for the Butte-Silver Bow Arts Foundation. Other responsibilities include training and supervising employees, and volunteers, developing art education programs and exhibition schedules, grant writing, fiscal management and fundraising.
